Our Mission & Vision
MISSION: Demonstrate God's love by providing logistics and need-based solutions, through partners, serving those affected by hardship, crisis, or disaster.
VISION: A trusted, connected network providing resources for humanitarian needs.
VISION: A trusted, connected network providing resources for humanitarian needs.
The ongoing NEED is overwhelming.
Today, one in 33 people worldwide needs humanitarian assistance or protection. More than at any time since the Second World War. Nearly 80 million people are displaced by conflict and violence. Wars last twice as long as they did in the early 1990s. So humanitarian agencies have to stay and operate in countries much longer than ever before. The organizations that Global Samaritan Resources serve are swimming against the tide as they work to not only share the message of Christ, but they are operating hospitals, clinics, orphanages, and schools. They are working in Guatemala, Mexico, Tanzania, Iraq, Nigeria, Uganda, Ukraine, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Zimbabwe, and many other places.
Locally, nearly 100 different agencies exist to serve those in need in the Abilene area. Global Samaritan supports local agencies, teachers and ministries by providing them with donated medical equipment and supplies, office furniture, educational materials, books, and school supplies.

The NEED is ongoing and the WHY is obvious.
Global Samaritan exists to answer the HOW question.
Q - How will our orphanage in South America get the desks and chairs we need for our classrooms?
A - GSR will fill a 40 ft. container with donated desks, chairs, and curriculum. They will then arrange for freight forwarding and make all the necessary arrangements to send that container where it needs to go. |
Q - Our youth group wants to take a mission trip to work at a clinic in Haiti. The clinic needs supplies. How can Global support this mission?
A - GSR can provide suitcases full of donated medical supplies that can carry with you and bring back empty for the next group to use. We call these "suitcase missions." |
